15 Years of Hasty Pudding

Since 2009, Charles River Media has worked with the renowned Hasty Pudding Theatricals. For a number of years prior to this, CRMi had been filming the Harvard University Gilbert and Sullivan Players who recommended us to Hasty Pudding, and ever since we’ve been providing video production, live streaming and A/V support for their programs.

Hasty Pudding Theatricals (HPT) is the oldest theatrical group in the United States run by Harvard undergraduates. Every year, HPT presents a comedy musical showcasing their chosen Woman and Man of the Year. These celebrities receive the Hasty Pudding award and participate in a series of events throughout the day. 

The festivities start out with a lively parade for the Woman of the Year, followed by a roast in which jokes are made about the honorees’ career. Afterwards, the celebrities take part in a press conference and are then featured in the show. 

Throughout the years, CRMi has filmed the performances, streamed the press conferences, conducted interviews with the honorees, provided multi camera coverage of the roasts, and more. We have also done post production for the Hasty Pudding Institute, creating highlight reels that celebrate their work over the years.  Over a decade ago, we even produced and sold DVDs of the theatrical performances.
