Charles River Media provided full-service video production and event A/V support for a series of TEDx Talks at Tufts University, helping create a professional experience for both the live audience and viewers watching the recorded presentations.

Our team delivered a complete multi-camera production setup featuring four cameras, live-directed video switching, professional audio, video projection, presentation computers with confidence monitors, and more.

Throughout the event, our production team managed camera coverage and switched between shots in real time, capturing each speaker from multiple angles and creating polished, dynamic recordings of the talks.

At the same time, Charles River Media managed the event’s in-room A/V needs. Presentation slides were routed to the main projection screen for the audience and to a confidence monitor for presenters, allowing speakers to stay focused on the audience while easily following their slides. Professional microphones and sound reinforcement ensured that every speaker could be clearly heard both in the venue and on the recordings.

By combining live event A/V and multi-camera video production under one team, we were able to coordinate every technical element of the program and provide a seamless experience from stage to screen.

Following the event, Charles River Media’s post-production team edited each TEDx Talk for final delivery and publication on YouTube. Using the live multi-camera line cut as a foundation, our editor refined camera selections, made minor timing and visual adjustments, and incorporated feedback from both the client and individual presenters. This streamlined workflow allowed us to efficiently transform the live recordings into polished, presentation-ready videos.
